Look! A canyon! It's grand! - IMG 2993
At each gas station, we launched a preemptive strike against bug-gut encrustation on the front of the vehicle. It may be many months before leslie has time to give a shit about how clean her car is, and by then the remains may have fossilized. - IMG 3008

I mean, you've got two words, and they are from *totally different languages* but they sound similar, and they have similar meanings! WOW! - IMG 3001
A ridge with a LAKE! It was odd to see a bunch of boats being towed around the desert; we were confounded until we saw the majestic, day-glo lake Powell. - IMG 2971

Ug with stick tend fire. Woman prepare meet. - IMG 3005
The "Great Arch of Zion." It's probably about 500 feet tall and 1500 across. Really amazing. Pictures just can't do this place justice. Think thousands and thousands of feet. Hugeness. - IMG 2949
It's really these things that remind my that I'm part of a world community, part of a "global village," if you will. - IMG 2972
Obligatory sunset shot. Careful viewers will notice that the sun has been meticulously removed with Photoshop. You can't trust anyone these days. - IMG 2967
Again. Flashbacks to day 1. - IMG 2968
There in the middle you can see a windy trail that we took down to the floor of the canyon, to get a better sense of the size of the place. Oh, wait. No. We didn't go down there because it was really fucking hot. That's right. - IMG 2947
Did I mention Grand? In spanish grande means big. Aren't the similarities between the languages fascinating?
