Pregaming it, we had a quite substantial and tasty lunch at the Norman Rose Tavern in "downtown" Napa. Check out the sausage gravy on those fries!

After being toodling about Napa a bit more, we headed north to do some wine tasting at Frog Leap.

Run up to the main event: we walk through the garden across the street from the restaurant. They get a lot of their produce from this garden but given the variety they must buy a lot as well.

It was very cool that they just had the garden open--no gates or doors or access control of any kind. I guess that's Yountville for ya.
