Also, she was trying to make up for the fact that they had planned to give St. Louis a day and a half, and ultimately didn't even stop for gas. Hence, lots of highway pics. After this, it was just a long day of driving: more of lovely Missouri, then Oklahoma (dubbed *parental advisory* "a fucking hell-hole of a miserable shit state"), and, finally, rest, in Dallas, at 1 a.m.
