Maybe he's doing something completely unrelated in this picture, but it's worth noting that Doug burned a last minute CD on the way out the door. Senor Coconut, the first CD of the road trip. Were it not for child safety lock doors, Leslie might have thrown herself into traffic.

Loading up, heading out

Doug's '95 Infiniti took us to El Paso and back. Because no car is better in the desert than a black one, with black leather interior. Good times.

Of course, the campsites were actually luxurious--running water, electricity, hot showers 30 feet away. This was our kitchen/dining room/lounge.

This bad boy slept Ali, Doug and Jeff and had a really funky old tent smell. The groundcloth was from WW2.

Hueco Tanks, May 2002: The biggest Trip yet
Date: 25 May 2002
As a way of celebrating the end of the semester before everyone left for their summer occupation, Bryan, Leslie, Jeff, Ali, George, Doug, Chris, and Hong all went out to Hueco tanks for sun, good food, and a bit of climbing. We took quite a few pictures.
