At about 5:45, I'm on the road about to cross the Dunbar bridge over the bay.

I know what you're thinking. Driving at 75mph and taking pictures of your odometer are mutually exclusive activities. But it was a *really* long drive, and maybe after 8 hours I was getting overconfident.

Just as I got into the Seattle area, it started to rain on me... It was as though Seattle had prepared a special welcome just for me.

The Commodore-Duchess apartment building. It's literally right across the street from UW proper. UT folks, imagine living at 26th and Wichita. The location is killer, all the bills are paid, but it is a little bit small. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Here are some random shots I took while wandering around campus. This is on the main pavilion; the foreground is occupied by a statue of UW's namesake.

Another of the big plaza. The neat-o gothic building on the left is one of the many gigantic libraries here on campus.

Another pretty gothic building that I don't know the name of. This one makes up the south side of the main quad. The trees and architecture are gorgeous. I almost feel like I'm cheating on UT for loving it so much, but the spaces are just so much more open (you're not always crammed between two five story buildings).
