First, some pictures from home. One of our home improvement projects has been changing Bryan's giant black speakers from eyesores into landscapes. Here, Bryan touches up the base coat of hills and sky.

The next weekend, Leslie spent a few hours adding some detail. (Mom will recognize these flowers from her bathroom painting.)

Bryan and George sent roses to my school to help me feel better about my miserable life. It worked. I'm easy.

Now, this picture's a little blurry, but I found it very important to capture the beauty of this tomato. Perhaps the best I've ever eaten.

We've ventured into San Francisco a few weekends now. Though we have yet to snap any pictures of streets or buildings, Golden Gate Park offered a few photo ops. This is Leslie and Jenn, a fellow TFAer.

The first weekend in October, and we finally made it to a beach. This was in the perpetually cloudy but lovely Half Moon Bay. We spent a few hours on the beach and then had some outstanding seafood at a local joint dripping with character.
