A few pictures from an overnight trip to Big Basin. Here is a tree sprouting new needles all over the place. Everything is alive this time of year, and even the grass hasn't yet gotten around to dying.

It's duck breeding season in CA. We've had babies squeaking around for a few weeks. Crossing the street in lines, being fluffy, falling into pipes, needing rescuing.
