So, what follows will be approximately one million pictures taken as the sun rises over Borobudur, largest Buddhist temple in the world, as the sun rises over the mist-filled jungle valley in which it is nestled, while clouds assemble to provide additional majesty, and in general things are as amazing as they can probably ever be. - IMG_20131129_140005034_HDR

Yep. These pointy things are called "stupas," and they are meditative metaphors for the body of the Buddha, which you walk around while pondering shit, just as you walk around the levels of Borobudur (always clockwise, always ascending from the east).
