Main Campus Location: Duke University An obligatory reference shot of the quad at Duke (a nice school, I'm sure, but why are all the kids so dressed up?).

PP building Location: Duke University The Jetta parks illegally (briefly) in front of the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy, in Duke's West Campus. Leslie was visiting the school in her ongoing quest to plan the next 10 years of her life. While the programs were great, the atmosphere of Duke and the lack of any sort of nearby city were strikes against the grad school. The verdict: only if they offer her vast quantities of cash (what are the odds?).

Nap-time Location: North Carolina/Virginia Bryan takes full advantage of his respite from driving as we head out of the Research Triangle after an unimpressive foray into downtown Durham. It's a cute but unfortunately abandoned center.

SPF 40, Baby Location: Virginia Bryan slathers himself before we go romping for hours in the waves (no pictures of that, sadly). But it was great fun.

The KOA Location: Virginia Our happy home, for one night, the KOA was about 1/5 the cost of a hotel room. Plus, it gave us the opportunity to sleep in Jeff's tent once again amid the RVs. Good times.
