You know what never gets old (for me)? Taking pictures looking up at trees. Expect a lot here.

Many of the biggest trees (like this one) had been gutted by fire at some point in their history. So while they were still healthy and thriving (takes more than a fire to kill a 2,000-year-old tree), you could could crawl inside them and stand it the middle of the trunk.
